Physicists in Industry

The rapid change and the increasing complexity of modern technologies require more intensive collaboration between physicists and engineers than before. Only then technologies can be fundamentally understood in order to apply them robustly up to their limits. The SPS, with its section "Physics in Industry", is predestined to take a driving role in this process. This includes to draw the attention of physics students to some interesting industrial activities. This is the concern of the series Physicists in Industry, in which physicists from industry explain their working fields and its potential.
